I was just looking at some old footage of my old band and thought I would make a thread about performances we have all done.
My first performance was in school with my old band. We had a concert that our school put on every year.
We made a song up joining a whole heap of songs from the 60's and 70's. It was the greatest, and the way we put all the songs together sounded awesome. Some of the songs were: Hendrix Purple Haze, Cream Sunshine of your Love, Zepplin Stairway to Heaven, Floyd Brick in the Wall 2, The Who - cant remember which song and there were a few others that I cant remember. We just did a verse from each song.
Everyone still says that it was the best performance in all the years of concerts. I played keyboard, guitar & vocals.

....another performance I did was an accoustic piece that me & two friends had written. In order to pass in music class, we had to do a certain amount of performances per year - 50% songs that were written by someone else, and 50% of songs that we had to compose ourselves. Anyway, we had already used up all our self-written songs but we had just written another one that was our best ever. We asked the teacher if we could perform it but he said no, so instead of picking a new song, we performed our newly written song but told everyone it was a song written by a made up name. Everyone loved our song, but we could never take the credit for it because we had to say that it was a song written by another artist so that we could pass the course.  |

I've done loads. I played about a dozen concerts on flute, been offered to go to spain and Austria to play with the band. Played about 6 music school performances. About 3 with jazz band (one with Johnny B. Goode, terrifying). 1 on some strange workshop and I'm sure i've done others.
I'll be starting my GCSE course when I go back to school, so I have to start composing stuff for it. EEK!

i was a level 10 gymnast and perforned, now im a dancer and perform, and i perform for guys all the time.  but i dont think that what you mean....im not talented like yall, i dont play in front of people cuz i suck, horribley |
