too bad 4 u!, i think the epitimy of their rock and roll-ness is either black dog, or rock and roll. they just kept stretching the limits of music so much that they never were content in doing one thing...they did folk (gallows pole), and indian sounding (KASHMIR). and then they made you all sad and depressed with since ive been loving you....and then to laughing your @ss off at watching jimmy hop around the satge in The Ocean...they were and are so extrodinary!  |

well i think you suck when you play with the bow! lol
and have you seen him do it live? he really got quite good at it after they recorded dazed and confused..plus all their live stuff kills

you just want one cd? i would suggest led zeppelin III or led zeppelin untitled, they are my uttermost favorite, well and houses of the holy is good...but yeah go with Led Zeppelin III its a deal. or save up your $$ for the box set. the box set is nice! you get all your favorite led zeeplein song all in one pacage! its like christams!  |

Sounds kinda cheap, you buy a Led Zeppelin box set and you get a bunch of songs by some band named Led Zeeplein, I think they ripped you off.

Shane, I agree. I would probably rather listen to Zeppelin more, and I own more of their albums. But The Who are clearly superior in musical talent and variety. Face it folks, it's true.

Its a really personal thing, and everyone will have a different answer. I love both of them, but I personally enjoy the Who more cos I grew up listening to them, and I can relate more etc...

wait are we really gonna get into another one of the the who vs. led zeppelin discussions?? people got crazy over that one last time
but for my 2 sense worth, everyone like selina said will have their different opinion and will tell everyone why and give them all of the facts and try to make them see why they should like the who more. but you can't really change a persons views especially if they're set on what they think.
