For me its a close choice between Shine on You Crazy Diamond & Time.......I think it's gotta be Shine On

mmm very tough one. For me it has to be Time because it's the first song I heard of PF and I can relate most to it.

My favorite is Shine On You Crazy Diamond. Absolutely brilliant song---very moving tribute to Syd who certainly was the Crazy Diamond. Wish You Were Here is such a fantastic album, the best musically IMO.

did you realise there was that "the lord is my shephard" part right away, or did you need to hear it a few times before you noticed. i didn't notice until i was reading the lyric sheet for the first time, and it had these lines that i never remembered hearing.

Yeh, sheep is awesome.I never knew about the Lord is my Shepard thing until I saw the lyric sheet. Love that part.

i still get lost when i listen to it, i can never remember all the words. but my favourite part of it is the part about learning karate...sheep doing karate, what a great idea ;D

My favorite is SOYCD. The guitar is so beautiful. And the loud/soft dynamics from verse to chorus.
I also really dig ABitW pt. 1. The guitar riff gives me chills every time I listen.

I don't think Echoes is as good as it is supposed to be. All of the vocal part, and the music, until it gets to the long sound effect section is amazing. But the rest seems like they were desperate to get a 20 min. long song, so they just spread out "pings" for 10 minutes. Maybe it's just me. Good song though.

mmm...sort of agree with that..I usually fast forward the 10 mins or so in between until it starts to build up again...But thats cos I'm just impatient...But when you are mellowing out, it's nice to listen to the whole thing
