Okay, I'm going to write something about my favorite Floyd--Roger Keith "Syd" Barrett. Out of all the past and present Floyd members, he certainly is the most intriguing to me. I suppose that much has to do with his lost talent, descent into reclusiveness, physical beauty, etc. As the song goes, "I can't quite put my finger on it.." It is also interesting to me that he is still living and doing something that he likes (art and writing) rather than continuing a lifestyle that almost killed him. What do you find so interesting about RKB?

Dark Globe is a wonderful song as is Maisie. I love his voice in the latter. Bride of a bull indeed!

Recently experiencing his works for the first time, I find it intriguing that he accopmlished what Oscar Levant only claimed to do, erase the fine line between genius and insanity.
