Besides, flat tires mean that your bike takes up a larger surface area, meaning you can glide effortlessly over the snow. Because pressure is weight over surface area and therefore your surface area is larger and therefore the pressure you exert on the snow is lower allowing you to not sink.
Or you could just walk.
